They say that there is a time and a place for everything and, sometimes, good things must come an end. That was exactly what happened to the stars of Fixer Upper.

Chip and Joanna Gaines, the couple who, for five seasons, renovated houses on the show, have finally put an end to the series, with the final episode being aired last night, April 3, 2018.

The program brought them many opportunities in life, but they felt that it was the right time to step away from the spotlight and focus on more important matters, such as their family, as reported by Pop Culture.

With the show behind their backs, Joanna took to her website to reflect on what the series meant to her and her family and how it helped her and her husband reach their goals.

The 39-year-old claimed that the last season was quite challenging, but that it also went by incredibly fast. The end of Fixer Upper was announced back in September of 2017, a date that seemed so far away for the TV personality.

According to the source, when the Gaines decided to make the fifth season their last, they had quite a lot on their minds, such as the show, the restaurant renovation, several side projects and their children.

Although they will no longer appear in front of the cameras, Chip and Joanna will stay busy, especially with the fifth baby on the way. In fact, Joanna said that being pregnant has been 'fun.'

As reported by Pop Culture, eight years went by since she was pregnant, which made her feel like she was bearing a child for the first time. Joanna also confessed that her favorite parts were napping and eating.

It has also been a very special moment for their children Since she gave birth to them so close to one another, they never had the chance to see their mother with a baby bump, and they are very curious, and anxious, to meet their little brother.
