Chip and Joanna Gaines have a surprising new family member. But it's not a baby

The home-renovating duo from the reality show, Fixer Upper, are expecting their fifth child. They are also expanding their family in more ways than one!

The final episode of season five of Fixer Upper aired on HGTV on April 3, 2018, after the couple announced in September 2017 that this would be their last season.

As reported by Pop Culture, Chip surprised his children but taking home a kitten and an English Mastiff puppy. The puppy has since been named Brindly.

While photos of the puppy were shared on Joanna's Instagram account, fans were not yet treated to a photo fo the kitten. But the family-expansion didn't stop there.

Chip also brought a black baby goat and surprised the children when they woke up. Joanna wrote on her blog that it was the 'cutest wakeup call ever.'

Three new pets might sound like a lot of responsibility to some parents, but the new arrivals join an already large animal-population living on their property, the Magnolia Farm.

Many fans are sad that the couple's reality show came to an end, but they haven't seen the last of the Gaines Familly just yet. The couple has a collection of home decor items available at Target.

They also opened a new restaurant called Magnolia Table, and Joanna's new cookbook of the same name will be on sale from April 24, 2018.

They might not have the HGTV series anymore, but their company Magnolia Design and Construction will continue to restore homes.

Fans can look forward to Magnolia Kids as well. The store will launch in the upcoming months, and branded apparel, baby clothes, and kids' decor items will be sold in the online store.,

'For us, the end of this final season marks the beginning of a new one. If you would have told me that I’d end this season of the show pregnant with our fifth baby, I would’ve laughed.'
