The Jesus Take The Wheel crooner melted all hearts with her powerful performance at the just concluded Academy Country Music Awards Show. Carrie took the crowd in awe as she fearlessly performed but a source close to her disclosed that her fearless unveiling had a lot of fear embedded in it.The insider revealed that Carrie was terrified of showing her face to the public.

Carrie’s fear was so bad that she deliberately missed the red carpet to avoid any up close interviews or answering any questions about her injuries.

Carrie suffered a fatal fall last year November that left her with a deep gash on her face and a broken wrist. The mother of one had to undergo a surgery the night of her fall and had about 40 to 50 stitches on her face.
