Bush family welcomes a new baby just days after Barbara's death

Last week was quite bittersweet for Lauren Bush Lauren. Her grandmother passed away on Tuesday while she gave birth in the same week.

While she was burying Barbara Bush this past Saturday, she was also celebrating the birth of her second child. Her baby boy was born on April 19, 2018, according to Pop Sugar.

Two days after the death of her grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush, Lauren Bush Lauren gave birth. Her husband, David Lauren, shared the news via Instagram on Friday.

He is the son of fashion designer Ralph Lauren. The image showed the little boy called Max Walker Lauren sleeping in a blue woolen cap.

Max was born at 5:33 am on Thursday weighing 7lbs 8oz. His father shared that his son was happy, healthy, and enjoying his new world.

Unfortunately, the little boy will never get to meet his great-grandmother as she passed away on April 17, 2018. But his older brother had the opportunity to know her even though he’s still quite young.

Neil Bush, Lauren’s father, lost his mother on Tuesday, but gained a grandson two days later. This he called the completion of ‘the circle of life’ according to Fox News.

Barbara was 92-years-old when she passed away. Lauren, the founder of Feed Projects, paid tribute to her grandmother by sharing a family photo on her Instagram.

She captioned the image by sharing that her love of reading, puzzles, and travel were a few things that Barbara had helped foster in her. On that same day, her husband posted a picture of the couple's 2-year-old son, James, with his great-grandparents.

‘Baby James got to experience the love and warmth of his unforgettable great-grandmother Barbara Bush. She will be very missed!’ David said.
