Jennifer Lopez, who was recognized by Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world, looked every inch the tastemaker as she stepped out in a sophisticated chic ensemble in New York City on Tuesday. The 48-year-old star commanded attention in a leopard print trench coat and black flare pants entering the Times Warner Center. Her hair was in her trademark tight bun that revealed her youthful face and her sky-high heels added to her stylish demeanor.

The star and her boyfriend, Alex Rodriguez have been enjoying their time in the limelight and have been open about how they met. A-Rod, as he is popularly known as, told Ellen that he didn’t recognize Lopez straight away.

'It took me about four or five seconds, and she says 'It's Jennifer!'' And I go 'Oh my god, Jennifer, you look beautiful.' I'd describe it as the luckiest day of my life.'

The two have been together for over a year now and have blended their families perfectly. J-Lo shares 10-year-old twins Emme and Max with singer Marc Anthony while Alex has two daughters - Natasha, 13, and Ella, nine - with Cynthia Scurtis. They recently bought a house together in New York in a posh neighborhood, but they are yet to announce plans of getting married.

In the meantime, J-Lo is soaring higher with her music career, thanks in part to her Vegas residency and several high-profile performances this last year. Her acting career is also doing great with projects lined up.
