Blake Shelton silences wedding rumors with a sarcastic comment

The country crooner finally shut down all the wedding speculations involving him and his girlfriend.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani had always been bombarded by rumors left and right.

At some point, Stefani had been speculated to be pregnant with Shelton’s child, and the most recent rumor is yet another wedding-related one.

As suggested by Country Music Nation, the media have always been quick to get an exclusive about the couple with various publications hoping to get an exclusive scoop.

During the recent red carpet event of The Voice, Shelton walked together with Kelly Clarkson.

Extra’s Terri Seymour grabbed the opportunity to ask Shelton to finally give the public an answer once and for all about the wedding speculations.

Shelton found a way to poke fun at the headlines being written about him and his partner in his response.

Shelton jokingly said, “Well, I don’t know if you guys read the magazines, but we’ve been married for a while. It’s been on the cover of all the credible magazines!”

Afterward, Clarkson butted in and made a point about how marriage is a big decision, especially in Shelton’s case since Stefani already has three kids.

She added that the media should just leave the couple alone.

Stefani and Shelton became close when they met on the set of The Voice Season 7. Both of them were part of the panel of judges.

They revealed that they have been officially dating in November 2015.

It has been a little over two years since they became public and they have shown through their social media profiles that their love for each other is stronger than ever.
