Why did Prince Harry invite ex-girlfriends Chelsy Davy and Cressida Bonas to his wedding?
While it is not standard practice to invite ex-parters to a wedding, Prince Harry remained on speaking terms with his exes, and Meghan approved the guest list.
The 32-year-old Davy met Prince Harry in 2003 in Buckinghamshire while she was studying at the Stowe School. They had an on-again/off-again relationship for nearly seven years.
As reported by Metro, the publicity of dating a Prince became too much for Davy and she decided to call off the relationship. Despite that, Davy and Prince Harry remain close friends.
A year after their breakup, Davy accompanied Prince Harry to his brother's wedding ceremony in 2011, which sparked rumors of a possible reconciliation.
The 28-year-old Cressida Bonas from Winchester Hampshire dated Prince Harry briefly for two years starting in 2012 while at University.
She is also close friends with Princess Eugenie and has royal blood flowing through her veins. The 6th Earl Howe, Viscount Edward Curzon, was her grandfather.
Prince Harry isn't the only Royal who invited his ex-girlfriends to his wedding.
Before Camilla became Prince Charles' wife and the Duchess of Cornwall, she was invited to his wedding to Princess Diana.
Lady Sarah McCorquodale was also in the audience, but one could argue that her invitation was partly because she was Diana's sister. Prince Charles dated Lady Sarah in the late seventies.
"I introduced them. I'm Cupid."

Harry's brother and best man, Duke of Cambridge, even went so far as to invite five of his ex-girlfriends to his wedding seven years ago!
According to People, they were Rose Farquhar, Olivia Hunt, Arabella Musgrave, Jecca Craig and Isabella Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe.
