Kim Kardashian stunned in white Givenchy gown with cathedral-length veil on her wedding day

Just a few days after the Royal Wedding between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry took place, people have been making comparisons left and right with some of the most luxurious weddings of all time. And as expected, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s nuptials come to mind when we talk about big ceremonies.

Celebritist learned from Kim’s Instagram account that she and her husband are celebrating their fourth anniversary, and the reality star couldn’t let the occasion pass without sharing a beautiful photo from their big, dreamy, special day.

Kim and Kanye are considered one of the most powerful couples in the entertainment industry. Some could say they are part of the “American royalty.” And when they decided to tie the knot four years ago, their wedding was expected to be the event of the year, and it was indeed.

Starting with the dress, we can totally understand why people have been comparing Meghan’s big day to Kim’s since they both wore customized Givenchy dresses. However, while Meghan’s was simpler yet stunning, Kim’s exclusive design by Riccardo Tisci featured sheer-inset side cutouts and a long, long tail.

Kim and Kanye flew their guest to Paris, where the pre-wedding celebrations took place. The bachelorette party at the Eiffel Tower set the tone, then, there was a brunch at the Valentino Garavani’s 17th-century château and a rehearsal dinner at the Palace of Versailles was the final touch.

The couple arrived in a gilded carriage to the last event, where Lana Del Rey gave an exclusive performance in front of the 200 guests that included celebrities such as John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, LaLa and Carmelo Anthony, André Leon Talley and Serena Williams, who also attended the royal wedding a few days ago.

The rapper and the reality star surprised their guests when they revealed the actual ceremony was taking place in Florence Italy, and yes, they flew the entire wedding party over there in private jets.

The picturesque Forte di Belvedere was the perfect scenery for the wedding ceremony officiated by Miami pastor Rich Wilkerson Jr. while Andrea Bocelli sang “Con te Partirò” as a surprised Kim walked down the aisle since the singer’s presence was a surprise from Kanye.

The reception was filled with more than $100,000 worth of floral arrangements where family and friends enjoyed a four-course dinner with the best entertainment as John Legend took the stage to serenade the newlyweds with his soulful voice.

Kim and Kanye’s wedding remains to be one of the most beautiful and fairy tale like to had a place among celebrities. So, we totally understand why some people would establish a comparison between their nuptials and the Royal wedding.

However, we believe each bride had their time to shine, and most importantly, each of them already found their prince. In that sense, both Kim and Meghan are the real winners here.
