Alicia Keys' son stuns with his talent in duet performance with mom in latest vid
The singer reveals her son's musical talent as she shares a video of the young boy mastering the keyboard while she sings along.
Alicia Keys recently proved that if she ever needed a back-up musician, she could always lean on her son Egypt.
Sharing an amazing video of her musically-inclined son playing the keyboard as she provided the vocals for the song ‘Lean On Me’, the proud mom gushed about how it was the “Best duet everrrrr!!!” in her caption adding,
“Love this boy!! He’s so excited about music My bestie!!”
The talented 7-year-old is Alicia’s son with her husband Swizz Beatz. The couple who’ve been married since 2010 also share 3-year-old son Genesis Ali.
It’s not surprising that Egypt has been showing interest in music with both his parents’ genes running through his veins. Alicia is a Grammy-award winning singer and Swizz, born Kasseem Dean, is an established hip hop recording artist and record producer

This is not the first time the proud mom shared a musical moment with her son. Back in April, she also posted a video where she’s working on a new song as Egypt assisted her with the keyboard. She captioned the post,
“Workin it out...When I write Sometimes I just wait for the words To drop out of the skyLike rain”
Alicia is clearly supportive of her son’s passion for music and her husband recently gushed about how great a mother she is on Mother’s Day. Labeling her a “Super Mom”, Swizz thanked his wife for the her “time and patience” and her “dedication to love all our kids.” His complete message read,
"Sending a Super Happy Mother’s Day to my Wife who’s a Super Mom beyond life. Thank you for your time and patience you have for all of our kids. Thank you for your dedication to love all our kids as 1. Your endless trips back and forth across country just so you can take them to school in the am will never be forgotten. I’m so happy you made a song about yourself and all the other amazing Mothers around the world. I think it’s called (I am Superwoman) #happymothersday Love you for Life."
The grateful husband accompanied his message with a lovely photo of his wife cuddling up to their two boys as they slept under a blanket. The photo spoke volumes of the kind of mother Alicia truly was.
