Ewan McGregor and estranged wife reunite in selfie to honor daughter's college graduation

Ewan McGregor and his estranged wife, Eve Mavrakis, have been reunited to celebrate the graduation of their eldest daughter.

According to a PEOPLE report, Clara managed to bring the couple together as she celebrated her photography degree in New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

The 22-year-old posted the family picture of the graduation on her Instagram account and captioned it: “Thank you to my wonderful parents for giving me the gift of a full education.”

Ewan filed for divorce from his wife of 22 years on January 19 this same year after he was spotted kissing Fargo co-star Mary Elizabeth Winstead in a London restaurant back in October 2017.

The Trainspotting star raised eyebrows with his Golden Globes speech in January, when he thanked both Mavrakis and Winstead on winning Best Actor in a Limited Series.

Clara, who has recently started to take steps on becoming a model, wrote on her graduation photo: ‘I feel truly grateful for this experience. AND that’s the last time I’m ever wearing bright purple. Peace out Bobcats’.

The daughter of the pair has begun to step into the spotlight on her own, also attending her father’s premiere on April 22, at Tribeca Film Festival.

Clara attended the red carpet wearing a sheer Fendi dress and cream boots. She was all smiles as she walked arm in arm with her good-looking dad, who stars in romantic science fiction film Zoe.

Clara has two adopted sisters and one biological sister. They are Anouk, 7, Esther Rose, 16, and Jamiyan, 16; who was born in Mongolia and adopted by Eve and Ewan in April 2006.

Anouk was adopted by the couple in 2011 when she was just four-months-old. Esther, on the other hand, made headlines of her own when she wrote and posted a song on Instagram that seemed to be about her parents' divorce.
