Jada Pinkett-Smith reveals getting steroid injections helped control her 'terrifying' hair loss
The actress shares a video updating fans on her hair loss journey as she thanks them for their outpour of support.
After she recently confessed to suffering from a condition that causes her to lose her hair, Jada Pinkett-Smith has now revealed she’s getting steroid injections to manage her hair loss.

The 46-year-old host of ‘Red Table Talk’ was grateful for the outpour of love and support from fans who witnessed her hair loss revelation on her show and she took to her Instagram to thank them and likewise inform them on how she’s coping so far.
She posted two videos, one of which was a clip from the episode when she disclosed her condition and another where she addresses her fans and thanks them while informing them about the steps she’s taken to manage her hair fall.
She began by thanking everyone who reached out to her, including doctors and practitioners who’ve recommended treatments and she revealed,
"I'm getting steroid injections, which seem to be helping but not curing. But I'm open to other ideas."
She also thanked everyone for supporting her Facebook Watch show before wishing them a beautiful day.
Jada disclosed her condition during a recent episode of her show where she also revealed how terrified she was when she first grasped handfuls of her hair that have fallen out. But she also revealed how her perspective changed when she realized others had bigger problems than her. This led her to think more positively about her condition.
Since discovering her illness, the actress has been sporting short hair and wearing bandanas. Luckily for the star, she rocks the look like a queen.
