Prince Harry's former girlfriend attended Royal wedding in eye-catching midi dress

On May 19, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry expected many close friends to attend the royal wedding including two of Harry’s former girlfriends.

Their wedding invitations have spawned confusion and people are asking why he invited Cressida Bonas, 29, and Chelsy Davy, 32. It isn't really all that surprising, because Prince Harry tends to stay friendly with his exes.

According to a Daily Mail report, Davy showed up to the wedding in an elegant and beautiful navy dress by Alaia, which fell just above her knees and featured a stylish cape.

The lawyer accessorized with a navy clutch, matching fascinator and sunglasses, and had her blonde hair loose in waves.

Prince Harry and the Zimbabwean-born Davy met in 2004 in Cape Town, South Africa, during the Prince's gap year. They tend to run in the same social circles and share a lot of the same friends.

The couple dated on and off for several years, from their first meeting in 2004 to when she was a guest at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. However, he and his ex-girlfriends are on good terms and have remained close friends.

While both of Harry’s ex-girlfriends were invited to the wedding, they reportedly were not invited to the second more intimate private reception that Prince Charles prepared for Markle and Harry.

Cressida Bonas, who dated the prince for two years, was also invited to St. George’s Chapel at Windsor for the wedding ceremony. The pair were introduced through Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie, who also attended the royal wedding.

According to BAZAAR, Harry’s relationships with Davy and Bonas reportedly both came to an end because neither liked the intense public scrutiny that came along with dating Prince Harry.

Other famous faces who have made the guest list include George and Amal Clooney, David and Victoria Beckham, Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian, and Meghan's close friend, Priyanka Chopra.

Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, James Corden and his wife Julia, who have just welcomed their third child, and James Blunt and his wife Sofia were also invited.
