Janet Jackson and Ciara steal hearts with warm hug in recent picture

Janet Jackson and Ciara had a cute sister-sister moment at the Billboards Awards that left people talking about their relationship. Theirs is a relationship that borders that of siblings, even taking their kids on playdates to Disneyland together.

Janet Jackson and Ciara are not just two beautiful and successful celebrities that embrace for the cameras as they did recently, they are also close friends behind cameras. In October last year, the two celebrities spent quality with their kids in Disneyland; Jackson’s then 9-month-old son Eissa Al Mana and Ciara’s 3-year-old son Future Zahir, as seen on Jackson’s former backup dancer James Collins’ Instagram Story.

Ciara did a tribute to honor Jackson in 2015, who she believes is “the best to ever do it” as she told Noisey Vice.

“Oh, it was so fun. Everything about it was surreal, up until the point of being on stage like “this really happening?" Y’know, I just have so much respect for her. She truly is, to me, the best to ever do it when it comes to entertainment. I really wanted to make sure that I did the best that I could do, and honour her. It took tonnes of rehearsals, and I was also in for my video rehearsals as well as her rehearsals so it was just non stop. When I finally got to the stage, I was like “this is happening. It’s about to go down.” It was super exciting.”

Although she did not get any feedback at the time from Jackson, it started a relationship that has gotten better with time, especially now that they are both mothers. Jackson also made he return to music after a 9-year hiatus and she looked as good as she did over a decade ago. She has also received overwhelming support from fans over time following the famed nipple expose of 2004 when performing at the Super Bowl with Justin Timberlake.
