Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelo celebrated their oldest son's 21st birthday

Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelo welcomed their first son Michael 21 years ago and shared their joy and pride on Instagram on the boy's birthday, the 2nd of June.

Ripa shared a video compiled from photos of Michael Consuelos’ life over the last 21 years and defined the moment of his birth as life-changing. “21 years ago today the galaxy was shooketh!” she captioned the video.

Mark Consuelos posted an inspiring shot of Michael surrounded by mountains and looking off into the distance.

His birthday follows the couple's celebration of their 22nd wedding anniversary on the 1st of May 2018 in the Bahamas with their children.

Ripa and Consuelo have two more children: Lola, 16, and Joaquin, 15. The couple met while working together on the soap opera All My Children and eloped in 1996.

Ripa has a lot to celebrate professionally too, since this month marks the one year anniversary of her collaboration with Ryan Seacrest, on Live!

Ripa is the co-host of the syndicated morning talk show, Live! with Kelly and Ryan, and has been on the show with several co-hosts since 2001.

Her acting credits include playing Faith Fairfield on the ABC sitcom, Hope & Faith, from 2003 to 2006.
