Rihanna's mom turns heads in red high heels and floral print trousers

The stylish mom proves she can keep up with her daughter when it comes to pulling off a fashion forward outfit.

Monica Fenty is Rihanna’s mom for a reason. She can effortlessly rock a look much like her fashion forward daughter.

Just recently, the mother and daughter duo showed up in style at the Stance Socks pop-up shop in Soho, New York and they posed up a storm with their stunning outfits.

Rihanna led the way flashing her long legs and bare chest as she donned an ice-blue colored satin coat dress with a high-low hem that fell just below her hips at the front. The daring number was cinched at the waist by a bowed sash. The singer accessorized with a huge chain necklace with an aquamarine pendant that laid at the base of her cleavage. She completed her look with ultra-slinky heels with clear toe straps and aqua twine wrapped around her ankles.

The 30-year old who allegedly recently broke up with her businessman boyfriend Hassan Jameel proudly posed with her equally glamorous mother in a photo she shared in her Instagram. Monica kept up with her daughter’s fashionable pace by wearing a white broderie anglaise smock over a pair of colorful patterned pants and red and blue sandal heels. Her short blonde bob framed her made-up face as she slung a purse across her torso. Approving her look, Rihanna wrote,

“how cute is Mumz tho”

In a photo shared by the Daily Mail, the proud mom posed in front of a wall bearing her famous daughter’s enlarged pic revealing her uncanny resemblance to the multi-talented celebrity.

Last February, Rihanna paid tribute to her mother as she marked her 30thbirthday. Posting a throwback from her younger years, the singer/make-up mogul opted to commemorate the day by proclaiming the day as much her mother’s birthday as it was hers. She wrote,

“10958 days ago @monica_fenty became a mother for the first time to her only daughter! Today is just as much your birthday as it is mine! I love you mom!”

The grateful daughter continued by thanking her mom for many things and attributing all that she is to the her.

“Thank you for carrying me, birthing me, raising me, supporting me, teaching me, and loving me unconditionally! The woman I am today is because of everything that you are! I thank God for perfectly hand picking you to be my mother when He sent my spirit to you! You are the greatest! Thank you!”

Earlier that day, Monica greeted her daughter by also sharing a childhood photo only daughter while she gushed about her in her caption..

“Happy 30th. God’s blessings to my 1st born. The sweetest, most humble person I know, and most loving daughter ever. Lots of love back to you on your special day.”

Rihanna and her mother clearly have a special bond that transcends likeness in fashion.
