Jason Aldean and his wife reveal their baby son's recent big milestone

Jason and Brittany Aldean share their pride in their baby's achievements

Country singer Jason Aldean and his wife, Brittany Kerr Aldean, a former America's Got Talent contestant enjoyed a rare night out at the 2018 CMT Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

The CMT Awards are fan-voted and reward excellence in country music videos and television performances. Aldean had been nominated in two categories for his song “You Make It Easy”: for Video of the Year, and Male Video of the Year.

Aldean was pipped at the post for both awards by Blake Shelton's “I’ll Name The Dogs”, but that hardly seemed to bother the singer who raved enthusiastically about his 6-month-old son Memphis, reported E-OnLine.com.

All the couple could talk about was their precious baby boy and the special milestone he had marked in the last few days.

"We had a big milestone this week. He got his first tooth."

Aldean revealed that Memphis had just cut his first tooth, and though he would soon have more, nothing would equal the doting parent's excitement at this epic event.

Memphis was born on December 1, 2017, but his mother had gone through a great challenge during her pregnancy.

When she was 7 months pregnant, on the 1st of October 2017, Kerr was in Las Vegas to watch her husband perform at the Route 91 Harvest festival.

Aldean had just begun performing "When She Says Baby" when a sniper began firing on the audience from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort. Although Aldean and his band were unhurt, 58 people were killed and 851 people were injured.

The CMT Awards hold a special place in Aldean and Kerr's hearts since it was where they first came out as a couple in 2104.

The couple had met while Aldean was still married to Jessica Ann Ussery. The two had married in 2001 and have two daughters, Keeley and Kendyl.

Aldean and Ussery divorced in 2013 and officially started dating Kerr in 2014.

His two daughters, Keely 15, and Kendyl 10 dote on their brand new baby brother. and love looking after him and changing his diaper.
