Pippa Middleton finally breaks her silence regarding pregnancy rumors

Duchess Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, has confirmed that she’s pregnant. This will be her first child with husband, James Matthews.

Middleton spoke to Waitrose Kitchen magazine to share how she was handling her pregnancy. A Twitter image was shared of the spread which showed her exercising while pregnant.

Middleton, 34, finally opened up about her pregnancy six weeks after reports first surfaced. She revealed to Waitrose Kitchen that she didn’t battle severe pregnancy sickness, or Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), like her sister Kate.

In September 2017, Kensington Palace announced that Kate was pregnant with her third child. They also noted that she was once again battling HG, similar to when she was carrying Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 3.

Despite not facing HG like her sister, Middleton had to adjust her life to fit around her pregnancy. She changed her four to five-day-a-week exercise routine but didn’t cut it out completely.

“I’ve noticed my body change, but through exercise, I feel it’s being strengthened. I’m fanatical about sport and have looked at loads of books and websites on exercise during pregnancy, but have been disappointed by the limited technical information what you can and can’t do,” Middleton shared.

“I was lucky to pass the 12-week scan without suffering from morning sickness. That meant I was able to carry on as normal.”

Since this was her first pregnancy, Middleton had many questions that she felt were still unanswered. She wanted to know things like, would she strain if she served in tennis, are strokes of swimming safe, and could she still do a normal yoga class if certain positions were avoided certain positions?

However, this hasn’t stopped her from working on her body and doing sports. She felt the workouts would help her have a healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery.

Middleton added that her healthy lifestyle would also ensure that her old favorite jeans would eventually fit post-baby. Kate’s younger sister was recently spotted in London on June 2.

She and Matthews, 41, were also in attendance at the May 19 wedding of Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry. A day after the Royal wedding, the couple celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary.

Middleton and Matthews got married last year on May 20 at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield. The couple had a whirlwind honeymoon in French Polynesia and Australia.
