Actor and comedian Eddie Griffin took to his Instagram account to share a photo of himself and his daughter to honor a big milestone in her life: her graduation.

In the image, Eddie and Leah, his daughter, are shown next to each other celebrating the woman’s graduation from college. Eddie was wearing a blue shirt, sunglasses, and a white cap, while Leah put on her academic regalia and held a big bouquet in his arms.

The proud father captioned the post confessing that it was Leah’s graduation. He added that, when she was in middle school, she was voted most likely to attend Ivy League University. Eddie finally wrote: ‘not playing games with my queen.’

As soon as he uploaded that picture, fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user Sonia Elias, who confessed that Leah was beautiful and that she looked like Eddie.

@rudeboi59 also took his time to comment on Eddie’s post, pointing out that Leah should continue her trip forward and look back at those who have her back.

Eddie’s post surprised his more than 450,000 Instagram followers as he is not used to sharing photos of any of his nine children.

Even though he is single at the moment, he has been married three times throughout his life. Eddie’s first wife was Carla Griffin. They married in 1984 – when he was only 16 years old – and got divorced in 1997.

His second wife was Rochelle Griffin. They were married from 2002 and ended up their relationship seven years later. Finally, he married Nia Rivers in September 2011 but, only one month later, they filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

While Eddie’s romantic life has been very similar to a roller coaster, his career in the entertainment industry is impressive.

He has worked in many important projects, including the TV series Malcolm & Eddie and Black Dynamite, and the films Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, Going to America, and All About Money.
