'Vanderpump Rules' stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced their engagement

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright, the stars of Vanderpump Rules, recently announced their engagement, although the wedding date is yet to be revealed.

On Thursday, June 7, 2018, Cartwright shared the good news with her friends, fans and followers on Instagram and couldn't help but brag about the new ring on her finger.

The photo posted on the social media platform depicted the big and beautiful diamond ring with Taylor looking very much in love in the background.

38-year-old Taylor proposed to Cartwright at the low key beachside restaurant Neptune's Net, in Malibu, California, which is one of the couple's favorite places to grab a bite.

Just like his future bride, Taylor used his Instagram account to share the same pictures with his fanbase, but he also took the opportunity to thank those who helped make the moment come true.

Aside from Margaret, the owner of the restaurant, the Vanderpump Rules star dedicated a special tribute to Kyle Chan, the jewelry designer who also appears on the show.

According to Taylor, Chan was the only person that he wanted on the job, claiming that he was confident that the designer would be able to create the most beautiful ring possible.

But although they are currently on cloud nine, Taylor and Cartwright have been going through some rough times as of late. They started dating in 2015 but broke up at the end of the current season of Vanderpump Rules.

At the time, Cartwright accused Taylor of cheating on him with Faith Stowers, a former co-worker, begging her to go back to him and playing mind games with her.

The couple reconciled off-camera after Taylor, following his father's passing, realized that Cartwright was the woman of his life and that he wished to start a family with her.
