'Flip or Flop' star Tarek El Moussa gets candid about his ex-wife's new boyfriend

Realtor and television personality Tarek El Moussa is best known for his reality series, Flip or Flop, which he co-hosts on HGTV with his ex-wife, Christina.

He exclusively told Country Living that he approves of Christina's new boyfriend, Ant Anstead, and joked that Anstead is "about nine billion times better than the first two."

Christina and Tarek exchanged views in 2009 and have two children together, seven-year-old daughter Taylor Reese and two-year-old son Brayden James.

The couple parted ways after eight years of marriage, and their divorce was finalized in 2017. They cited irreconcilable differences as the reason.

Despite the split, Christina and Tarek will remain working partners and will continue to co-parent their children.

Christina started 39-year-old Anstead, a motor specialist, back in November 2017. The couple celebrated their 7-month anniversary recently, and Tarek is happy for them.

"I met him, he seems like a good guy. He has kids, he's good to my kids, and I'm happy she finally found a decent, normal guy."

Christina admits that Ant and Tarek only met briefly, but she is glad that Tarek approves. However, Ant also received the approval of the two who matter the most: Christina's children.

Tarek, like any parent, is concerned about the welfare of his children, and is "happy there's finally a good man around my kids other than me," he added.

He also confirmed that both Taylor and Brayden have adjusted after the divorce. It was easier for Brayden to adjust, due to his age, but Taylor adapted "as time went on."

Fans for Christina and Tarek can tune in for Flip or Flop every Thursday at 4 pm Eastern Time, while Ant is currently the presenter on Wheeler Dealers.
