Tiffany Haddish finally reveals the star who bit Beyoncé at a party in LA

Actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish, best known as Jackie on If Loving You Is Wrong, finally revealed the name of the women who bit Beyoncé’s face in December.

Haddish made headlines a couple of months ago, when she told GQ that she was with Beyoncé at a party, held on December 22, 2017, when a woman, whose name was not revealed at that point, attacked the singer biting her face.

After that, Beyoncé rushed to tell her husband Jay-Z about what had happened and, seconds later, the couple went to a private room.

Later, Haddish told Beyoncé that she was going to ‘beat somebody’ at the party, suggesting that she would fight the woman who bit her friend’s face. However, Beyoncé just told her to relax and to enjoy the rest of the party.

During the interview, Haddish set clear that if the singer wouldn’t have calmed her down, she would have gone to jail after fighting the woman who assaulted Beyoncé.

In a recent conversation Haddish had with The Hollywood Reporter, she finally revealed who bit Beyoncé at the party: it was Sanaa Lathan, best known as Monica Wright in Love & Basketball.

Haddish added that she was good friends with Lathan’s stepmother, Marguerite, and her father, Stan. When she spoke about the incident for the first time, Lathan’s family contacted and asked her why would she do that to them.

They added that black actresses should stick together as it was hard for them to get work. If they try to ruin their careers, things wouldn’t improve for them.

However, Haddish explained that she didn’t try to ruin Lathan’s career as she didn’t say her name at that point. All she was trying to explain was that Beyoncé kept her from going to jail that night, which could have ruined her own career.
