Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons' daughter Aoki, 15, heads to prom in violet dress in new pics

Aoki Simmons, the 15-year-old daughter of Kimora Lee and Russell Simmons, took to Instagram to share a photo of her wearing a prom dress.

In the image, Aoki was next to a group of friends who were also dressed to impress. Aoki chose a simple yet elegant violet gown with a deep neckline and no sleeves that enhanced the color of her skin.

Wearing nothing but earrings as accessories, she made sure that her face and body were the most important aspect of the night. One of Aoki’s friends chose a sleeveless blue dress while another one opted for a red one.

The only male friend included in the photo was wearing a red and black suit and a matching red bowtie.

The second slideshow Aoki uploaded had a series of photos with the same two girlfriends. In them, Aoki’s chic black and white clutch was portrayed.

Those photos were posted only days after her sister, Ming Lee, graduated from high school. For the occasion, Russell uploaded a video showing Ming holding the family dog and getting ready for a photo session.

The 18-year-old model was wearing a very elegant black dress covered by a red academic regalia and the traditional lei around her neck. Aoki was with her sister in one of the most important days in her short life.

As Celebritist previously reported, the fact that Ming just finished high school didn’t mean that she didn’t know what to do next. She confessed that even though modeling was an important aspect of her life, college was the next step for her.

Ming admitted that she would be doing Pre-law in college and, after that, she would have time to do other creative things. She confessed she was looking for colleges in California and New York, but she has not chosen a specific university yet.
