Cate Blanchett appeared with talented young son at 'Ocean's 8' premiere

Actress Cate Blanchett went with her son Ignatius Martin at the Ocean’s 8 premieres in London.

Blanchett plays the partner-in-crime and the girlfriend of Sandra Bullock’s character, Debbie, in the much-anticipated movie.

Arriving on the red carpet on premiere night, which was held at Cineworld, Leicester Square, the actress brought with her 9-year-old Ignatius, who looked dashing in his navy suit and matching tie.

Blanchett looked every bit like a doting mother as she wrapped her arm around her son while they both posed for snapshots in front of the cameras.

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress appeared classy in her long-sleeved top covered in neatly-placed gray feathers. Her waist was emphasized with a slim, black belt to create form. To complete the look, Blanchett sported seamless, black cigarette trousers and black stiletto heels.

Her hair was styled in loose waves with a partition on the side. As for her makeup, it was kept at a minimum with thin lines of eyeliner, a gold shadow for her lids, and a touch of nude for her lipstick.

Aside from Ignatius, Blanchett has other children and she shares all of them with her husband, Andrew Upton. They have two more sons named Dashiell and Roman, and an adopted daughter, Edith.

As for the movie, Bullock’s character plans to snatch $150 million at the Met Gala.

Sarah Paulson, who plays Tammy, is a mother from the suburbs and was Debbie’s old partner-in-crime. Mindy Kaling, who plays Amita, joins the team of ladies as she is a jewelry maker in the film. Rihanna is also a part of the movie and plays Nine Ball who is a tech genius.

Helena also makes an appearance in the movie as Rose Weil, a fashion designer.

Other stars include Anne Hathaway, who plays Daphne Kluger, a star and the target of the robbery. Her assistant in the film is John Frazier portrayed by James Corden.

Cameos from Anna Wintour, Zayn Malik, Katie Homes, Serena Williams, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and Kylie Jenner are also anticipated in Ocean’s 8.
