Brandy shares picture with brother Ray J after her weight gain

The loving siblings spend some quality time alone as they share a sweet hug amid recent issues surrounding them.

Siblings Brandy and Ray-J share a deep love for one another which is why seeing them together makes for some serious sibling goals.

A recent post by Brandy is earning raves from her followers. She shared a photo where she’s all smiles while hugging her younger brother. “Just the two of us!”, she wrote, clearly relishing the moment with the man closest to her heart.

Brandy is visibly happy in the photo, a sister glad to be spending some time with her married brother. Fashioning giant braids, she clung to him dearly as he casually looked away. It’s unclear where Brandy and Ray-J were in the photo but it’s safe to assume it was a planned encounter.

So much has gone on between the two in the past months proving their closeness. It wasn’t too long ago when Ray-J came to his sister’s defense when she was rumored to be pregnant after putting on some weight. He denied the rumors and even said her sister was simply enjoying her new weight.

And it’s true. Brandy has been parading her new body with pride. She revealed she went on a “foodcation” and loved it. She felt good about her fuller curves, and her fans agreed she looked amazing.

Just a few days ago, Ray-J delighted Brandy’s daughter Sy’Rai by treating her to a shopping spree in no less than Rodeo Drive. It was her 16thbirthday and her uncle Ray-J gifted her with shopping money, enough to send her on her first shopping trip to the famous shopping district. She posted a photo from her day out and exclaimed,

“Birthday girl did some damage.”

Ray-J also wished his niece a happy birthday in a separate post. A doting uncle he truly is.

But it wasn’t all good between Ray-J and Brandy a few months back when news spread that the Brandy skipped Ray-J’s wife Princess Love’s baby shower due to a rift. Caught in the middle of the tension between his wife and his sister, Ray-J was confident things would eventually pass when he spoke to People Now about the ongoing feud.

“Listen, you have good days and you have bad days in family. It’s just unfortunate, sometimes, people kind of take certain things they see and go out and let the public know. For us, we’ll be fine.”

Seeing how Ray-J and Brandy are today, it’s safe to say they managed to get through that obstacle and come out closer than ever.
