Christine Errico of Ocean Township received “the mother of all makeovers” - from a nurse in sweatpants to a stunning woman in a green dress with a beautiful haircut.

The mother-of-three was surprised by her daughters and the Rachael Ray Show on April 27 and May 1, 2018.

A rehab nurse, Christine was always busy with no time to think about her appearance. She works long hours at the hospital and takes care of her family.

Her daughters love her for always being there for them and for being the main financial supporter for their household since their father had a stroke about five years ago.

Her daughters, Antonia, 20, Gianna, 19, and Natalia, 17, described her as “a true superhero.” One of her daughters said, “Everything she does is for everyone else.” A busy life also meant she did not keep up with the latest fashions.

After her husband had health issues, her style suffered too. Her children described her clothes as “comfortable,” revealing that her closet contains outfits from the 1980’s

Her family then decided it was time to change all that and do something special for her. They submitted her story to the Rachael Ray Show and surprised her with a makeover.

Christine works at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tinton Falls. Her daughters took the TV crew to her place of work for the surprise announcement.

She was then taken to New York City for the makeover, which included visits to J. Crew and Lenscrafters in Brooklyn. The 51-year-old got two pairs of glasses, while style and makeup artist Mally Roncal oversaw her makeover.

She arrived on the show in sweatpants and broken glasses. But when she made the grand entry on to the stage, her family was stunned to find their loved one in a new avatar.

Rachael described it as “the mother of all makeovers.” Those on stage could not hold back on their happy tears upon seeing Christine’s transformation.
