Tika Sumpter shares photo of her mother in white lace dress showing off their uncanny resemblance
Actress Tika Sumpter posted a photo on social media showing her mother, who she has the strongest similarities with.

Sumpter’s mother, Janice Acquista looked fabulous in her all-white ensemble as shown on her photo posted by the actress on her Instagram profile.
Acquista was wearing a body-hugging, lace dress with a halter design. The flower-patterned dressed appeared to reach just the middle of her calf.
She paired the dress with an intricately designed, silver heels. As for her accessories, Acquista wore an elaborate, white, tassel earrings that almost touched her shoulders. She also put on a gold bracelet on her left wrist.
Acquista was all smiles as she looked into the lens. Fans pointed out the uncanny likeness between Sumpter and her mother. At the same time, her followers praised her mother for her beauty.

In 2016, Sumpter took to Twitter to express her rage when her mother was arrested because of a ten-dollar library fee.
‘Make sure you turn in your library books North Carolina! My mom was just arrested for having a late fee of 10 dollars on an overdue book!’ tweeted Sumpter.
The arrest happened because Acquista failed to return the book in time resulting to a late fee at the Public Library of Johnston County & Smithfield in Johnston County, North Carolina.

The actress went on a Twitter rampage calling the whole thing a scam tagging the library and the people in the office at North Carolina at the time.

As for her own family, Sumpter’s life partner, Nicholas James, recently posted a rare photo of their little daughter on Instagram.
The couple has a 20-month-old daughter they named Ella and James gushed how his beloved daughter altered his life.
‘My proudest and most life-changing accomplishment in life has been fathering this amazing Little being. Watching her heart grow is my greatest contribution to this world,’ James wrote.
