John Legend's wife posts new photo of baby Miles with great-grandmother

The photo features one-month-old Miles, the second child of singer John Legend and model Chrissy Teigen, in the middle of an adorable family moment.

Chrissy Teigen is thrilled to be a mother for the second time, and she recently shared a photo of her newborn son Miles Stephens being cuddled by two of his female family members.

Miles, who was born on May 16, looks comfortable being held by a relative named Dede while perched on the lap of his great-grandmother Marjorie Stephens.

Marjorie is John Legend’s paternal grandmother, and she is seen wearing a beautiful smile while holding baby Miles close to her chest.

Dede also has her hands around the tiny bundle of joy and is seen smiling at him with affection

Miles was dressed up warm in a striped grey onesie and a pair of woolen socks. Even as he was being pampered by his family members, it appeared that his attention was locked on something off-camera.

Teigen fans first got a glimpse of baby Miles on May 20, when she posted a photo of him with an emotional caption.

The 32-year-old model announced her newborn’s name in the post. She expressed that the family was mesmerized by Miles’ movements and curious eyes.

The proud mother added that the arrival of Miles had filled the atmosphere at home with love and she thanked all her fans and followers for their wishes.

Teigen also shared a special sibling moment between baby Miles and his two-year-old sister Luna Simone Stephens. In one photo, Luna was seeing tending to her baby brother, who seemed to be in deep sleep.

According to E! Online, shortly after Miles was born, Legend attended the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, where he was asked about the story behind the naming of his children.

Legend explained that both his children’s name have been inspired by musical figures. His daughter’s name was an ode to legendary singer Nina Simone, while his son was named after Miles Davis.

Legend and Teigen were blessed with their first child and only daughter Luna in 2016, 3 years after they tied the knot.
