Fantasia melts hearts with video of daughter who shows off her adorable smile

Fantasia Monique Tayler, known professionally as Fantasia, took to Instagram to share a video of her daughter Zion Quari Barrino and her beautiful smile.

In the short recording, Zion is next to several people in what seemed to be a professional video shooting. She put on black shoes, black and grey sweatpants, a black and white crop top, and an oversized beige coat.

For the caption, Fantasia only wrote ‘that smile.’ As soon as she uploaded that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Fantasia’s Instagram fan page @fantasiafanatic7343, who confessed that Zion was ‘too beautiful.’

User @bella_dama24_ chimed in and said that Zion was gorgeous and that she was Fantasia’s twin.

Zion is the first child of Fantasia, who welcomed her to the world in August 2001, when she was only 17 years old, with her then-boyfriend Brandel Shouse. Shortly before having Zion, Fantasia dropped out of Andrews High School in High Point, North Carolina.

In 2014, a harsh legal battle between Shouse and Fantasia started over Zion’s custody. According to TMZ, Fantasia labeled her daughter’s father as ‘just a sperm donor,’ while Shouse claimed to be a better parent than Fantasia.

Apart from that, the mother revealed that Shouse had never had a relationship with – or cared for – Zion. To make things even worse, the singer admitted that he had never given ‘a dime’ of financial support.

Zion is not Fantasia’s only child as she had a son named Dallas with Antwuan Cook. Later, in 2015, she married Kendall Taylor.

The principal aspect that took Fantasia to stardom was winning the 2004 season of American Idol. At that point, she was the youngest person to win it until Jordin Sparks did the same in 2007 at 17 years of age.
