Blake Shelton tweets supportive message for Gwen Stefani's first performance in LA
Before Gwen Stefani’s first show in Las Vegas, her three-year boyfriend, Blake Shelton, gave her a message of support on Twitter.
In April, Stefani officially announced her Las Vegas residency at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino called Gwen Stefani – Just A Girl.
The singer had her opening night on June 27th and country crooner Shelton just had to give his full support for his beloved girlfriend.
He took to Twitter to express his excitement over Stefani’s show.
Today’s the day!!! @gwenstefani opening night in Las Vegas!!! I wouldn’t miss this for the world....— Blake Shelton (@blakeshelton) June 27, 2018
The couple has been quite expressive on social media, sharing to their fans how affectionate they are of one another. Follow us on Twitter at AmoMama USA to read more stories about the couple.
As for Stefani, she expressed in her press release that was sent out when her show was first announced that she was honored to be able to do a show in Vegas. She shared that as someone who grew up in Anaheim, California, she never thought of having her own Vegas residency.
She added, ‘I have been so fortunate to tour throughout my career, but to create a show for Vegas is something I’ve never experienced and I can’t wait.’
Currently, Stefani is included in the list of artists who also have a residency at the Zappos Theater. The list consists of Jennifer Lopez, Lionel Richie, and the Backstreet Boys.
It seems that things are finally looking good for Stefani following the debacle of her divorce with Gavin Rossdale, whom she shares three children with.
By the time she was working on The Voice as a coach, Stefani had met Shelton and their friendship eventually blossomed into something more.
While some people thought their relationship could have been nothing but a rebound since Shelton had just separated with Miranda Lambert at the time, Stefani and Shelton seem to have proven them wrong.
With three years of being together, they look very happy as a couple.
In an interview with Willie Geist on Sunday Today, Shelton opened up and said, “When I was going through my divorce and just, you know, hit rock bottom just like anybody does when they go through something that devastating, it’s a miracle that I met somebody that was going through the same exact thing that I was at the same exact moment in time.”
By the looks of it, it might not take long and an engagement announcement might be on the way very soon.
