Angelina Jolie dressed in Meghan Markle's style at Royal event
On Thursday, Angelina Jolie channeled fellow American, Duchess Meghan at a Royal event. She could have been Meghan’s twin by the outfit she chose and the way she styled her hair.
The actress and director was attending the Service of Commemoration and Dedication of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George in London according to The Royal Family on Twitter.
On Thursday, the Service of Commemoration and Dedication marked the 200th anniversary of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George, at St Paul's Cathedral. Angelina Jolie, 43, looked quite regal at the event.
She wore a custom Ralph & Russo pale gray dress with a boat neck and matching gloves. The star accessorized the outfit with a gold brooch and a silver purse.

Another item that made the actress give off Meghan vibes was her trendy fascinator. She wore the hat with her hair pulled into a chignon.

The bun was another style choice that was normally worn by the Duchess. According to Daily Mail, the Queen was expected to attend the event but had to pull out at the last minute due to a summer cold.
In her place, the service was attended by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent, Grand Master of the Order, her cousin. At the end of the service, Jolie took some time to meet fans and even posed for a few photos.

Since her Royal wedding, Meghan has opted for shades of off-white and pale pink. She’s also experimented with different headpieces.
Meghan has worn two custom Philip Treacy hats for both her appearance at Prince Charles’ Buckingham Palace garden party and her Trooping the Colour debut
Jolie has met with Royalty before. In 2014, the Queen made an honorary Dame Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George for extraordinary service to UK foreign policy. The title is the female equivalent of an honorary knighthood.
Her work on the campaign was to end sexual violence in war zones. At that event, the actress had worn a similar outfit to the one on Thursday.
In a recent documentary titled The Queen's Green Planet, Jolie spoke highly of the British monarch and the work that she's done. "You know she’s just this really lovely lady who really cares about people around the world, and she really cares about the future, and she wants your grandkids and her grandkids to be able to be running around, enjoying nature and other cultures, and the importance of other cultures,” the actress said.
