Eric Church mourns devastating family loss
Country star Eric Church shared his grief by announcing the loss of his brother through his official website.
Famed Country star Eric Church announced on his official website that his brother and close confidant Brandon Church has passed away.
Brandon Church was an active contributor of Eric’s music career. Early on in Eric’s career, Brandon could be seen on stage performing with the country singer.
He is credited as a composer in multiple albums for Eric and was always listed as part of the Choir, as per Allmusic.com.
The family has initiated a Scholarship fund in honor of Brandon. The fund, known as 'The Brandon E. Church Memorial Scholarship Fund,' will be open to the public for donation and the link has been provided on Church’s website.

They also mentioned that any note or message sent to the family would be directed via email to Brandon’s parents, Ken and Rita Church. The fund had collected over USD 14000 as of Monday, July 2, 2018, and is still open for donation.
Apart from the statement released on the official website, the family has chosen to mourn privately without commenting any further.
The precise details of his passing were also not provided by the family, as they want to maintain the privacy of the family. He is survived by his daughter McKenzie Church. Brandon Church was only 36 years old.
Eric Church, known for his hit singles like Mr. Misunderstood and Springsteen, credited his brother for playing a significant part in his career and his life of fame.
The siblings were known to be very close and loving, as they grew up in Granite Falls, North Carolina. Eric is currently scheduled to perform in Fort Loramie, Ohio on July 7, 2018, and no changes to this schedule are announced yet.
