Fantasia Barrino shares hospital photo of her little godson who is to receive a new heart

Singer and songwriter Fantasia Barrino used her Instagram account to share a photo of her godson laying on a hospital bed mere hours before entering the operating room.

The image showed Braxton smiling at the camera and doing the ‘thumbs up’ sign while resting on his bed. Even though the picture was an important aspect of the post, the message that the singer wrote in the caption was the highlight.

Fantasia revealed that Braxton was her godson and that he would undergo surgery to receive a new heart. She thanked God for the procedure and said that everything would be okay because He would be in the middle of the room.

The singer asked Him to give doctors the wisdom and knowledge to work on Braxton and even urged his fans and followers to pray for him and send positive energy.

Fantasia later shared a couple of aspects about Braxton’s personality as she admitted that the boy could walk in any room and brighten it up. He ‘loves everybody’ with the same smile shown in the photo.

Later, the American Idol-winner pointed out that she and her husband, businessman Kendall Taylor, would pay for everything.

Finally, she asked God to take care of all those people who would undergo surgery that day, so they come out ‘brand new.'

As soon as she uploaded that photo, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One of them was Instagram user @divagal64, who wished Braxton a speedy recovery.

That image was uploaded only months after Fantasia’s nephew, Tyquan Von Ricco Washington, was found with multiple gunshot wounds on the road in front of a home in Greensboro, North Carolina, reported People.

Paramedics immediately took him to the Moses Cone Hospital, where the 18-year-old man was pronounced dead.

Police reports revealed that he Tyquan was shot during a dispute between him and a 21-year-old man called David Lee White, Jr. The murderer was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
