Grace Kelly's granddaughter Charlotte Casiraghi is expecting her second child
Charlotte Casiraghi, the granddaughter of the mythical actress turned Princess of Monaco, Grace Kelly, is expecting her second child.
Casiraghi and her fiancé Dimitri Rassam were at the Monte Carlo International Horse Jumping event, where she showed off her baby bump.
People.com revealed on the 10th of July 2018 that the 31-year-old royal mother-to-be is “due late this summer, early September.”
Casiraghi confirmed her engagement to Rassam by wearing a diamond ring on her left hand at the prestigious 64th annual Bal de la Rose in Monte Carlo on the 7th of March.

Casiraghi began dating Rassam in 2016. Rassam is a film producer and the son of the iconic Bond Girl, Carole Bouquet.
The couple became engaged in June 2018 while on a family ski vacation in Austria. A large family wedding is planned for next spring, probably at Bouquet’s 12-acre vineyard, on the idyllic Italian island of Pantelleria.

The newborn will be the seventh grandchild for Princess Caroline and the second for Rassam's mother.
Casiraghi has two brothers, and the youngest, Pierre, married Beatrice Borromeo in 2015. The couple has two children, with their youngest having been just born in May.
Casiraghi's older brother, Andrea, is married to Tatiana Santo Domingo, and welcomed their third child in April.

The Casiraghis are the grandchildren of Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III, the children of Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi, who was killed in a boating accident in 1990.
Casiraghi already has a 4-year-old son, Raphaël—from a previous relationship with stand-up comedian Gad Elmaleh; and Rassam has a 6-year-old daughter.
Casiraghi is 11th in line to the throne, and the new addition to the Monégasque royal family will be 13th in line for the Principality.
