Gabrielle Union turns heads in nude bikini, showing off her newly short hairdo in photos

Gabrielle Union recently came back from a mini vacation with some friends in Ibiza, Spain, and never shy when it comes to sharing pics of her body, she flaunted her toned abs through some pics on social media.

The “Being Mary Jane” star recently came back home after a mini summer vacation trip to Spain she took in the company of her handsome husband, NBA star Dwayne Wade, and a dozen of friends. While the couple usually travels around the world in the company of Wade’s kids, this time around it was an adult only kind of trip.

Gabrielle recently joined a campaign organized by the swimsuit brand Aerie to spread body positivity.

The campaign consists on sharing unretouched pics on social media while wearing a bikini for the summer, which happens to be the time of the year when girls tend to feel more insecure about their bodies because of the pressure society has pushed to achieve the “perfect summer body.”

The 45-years-old beauty encouraged her fans to follow her example and post a photo in a bikini showing off their natural body. She said in the caption of her Instagram post:

“Love the swim you’re in! Swimsuit season can trigger a lot of insecurities... cellulite, ingrown hairs, scars, body diversity, ageism, you name it! But it's important to always embrace, own, and love every inch of yourself... imperfections and all! OWN what your mama gave ya! For every unretouched photo you share with #AerieREAL, @Aerie will donate $1 (up to $25K) to @NEDA. #AeriePartner”

Despite being done with her support, Gabrielle followed up with her word and posted unretouched pics from her trip to Spain rocking a two-piece beige bikini that put her athletic body on display. She completed the look with a stylish headband to keep her short hair away from her face, hoop earring, and a beaded bracelet, as she smiled brightly while enjoying the beach.

Union’s abs and toned legs caught the attention of her fans, as they pointed out she’s one of the few women in the entertainment industry to “keep it real” by not performing any surgery on her body.

“How I De-Stress,” she wrote in her caption and proceeded to share more pics of her relaxing trip. Posing in the deck of a yacht with her friends and husband, standing in the middle of a European hallway with a friend and hugging Dwayne on the street, is clear that Gabrielle had a lot of fun.

Just a few weeks ago, Union gave a boost to her confidence by cutting, for the first time in years, her own hair. We’re used to seeing the actress donning different hairstyles, but that was thanks to the different weaves and wigs she used.

However, Gabrielle decided it was time for a change, and she documented the process through an Instagram video where she showed her followers her process to get a gorgeous short bob.

Then, she rocked, literally, her new haircut in another clip, shaking her head to the beat and showing off her hair’s movement, as she wrote in her caption:

“CRAZY for my new haircut from the hair guru @larryjarahsims 1st time I've EVER significantly cut my OWN hair in my life, and I LOVE IT!!! Not a wig or a weave... wanted something new and different so I did the damn thing and you can’t tell me nada.”

Gabrielle, who created a haircare line called Flawless, which specializes in textured hair, doesn’t judge women who choose not to display their natural hair and instead prefer the safety of wigs, as she told Allure in an interview last year:

“If you have embraced natural hair, that is amazing. If you love to rock weaves and wigs and extensions, that is amazing, too. No matter what part of the journey you’re on, I’m giving you a high five. Zero judgment.”
