Wedding bells: Here are the first pictures from Josiah Duggar and Lauren Swanson's big day

Yet another of the Duggar clan tied the knot in a joyful celebration of faith and love

Josiah Duggar, the reality star from The Counting On married Lauren Swanson on the 30th of June 2018 at John Brown University Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, reported People.com.

The happy couple confided that before the wedding their respective parents had given them advice on how to build a happy and successful marriage.

The pillar of their union, they revealed, is their faith. They have vowed to each other to keep Christ central in their marriage.

They both believe that marriage is a gift from God and putting Christ first is the most important thing they can do to ensure that their marriage is strong, healthy and able to withstand all difficulties of life.

The couple was married by Lauren’s father Dwain Swanson in a deeply spiritual and touching ceremony.

The couple chose an unusual combination of colors for their wedding theme: grey and blue, pink and olive, as well as green and white.

Lauren's wedding dress was an elegant creation with a boat neckline, short sleeves, and a form-fitting silhouette that opened into a tulip skirt.

Jana Duggar and Anna Duggar helped to make the eight handmade blush-colored dresses for each of Lauren's bridesmaids.

Guests were treated to cupcakes, a candy bar, and a strawberry shortcake, and a gigantic heart-shaped wedding cake at the reception.

"What a joy it is to be husband and wife!" the couple said in a joint statement. "Our wedding day was absolutely perfect!"

It only remains for all the fans and followers of the happy couple to wish them all possible joy and happiness in their future life together.
