Rare photo of Justin Chambers' father-in-law serving in the army

Actor Justin Chambers, who shares strong bonds with his in-laws, shared some incredible photos of his father-in-law in the uniform.

Justin took to Instagram to share a heartwarming photo of his wife’s father, who served in the army, in time for Memorial Day 2018.

The Ohio-born actor married Keisha Chambers in 1993. Her family welcomed him with open arms, and he is close to them.

On May 29, days before the Memorial Day, he posted an old photo of his veteran father-in-law, Richie Leon, in appreciation of his services. Leon did tours in Vietnam while in the army.

He also posted a photo a letter written to him by ‘papaw Willman,’ another veteran, describing events of the World War II. The letter addressed to Justin revealed that it was a ‘summary of events’ that took place when he served in the army during the War.

The letter hoped that his participation had left a safer world for Justin and his family. The actor thanked ‘papaw’ for all his bravery in the comment section of the photo.

Justin also shared a photograph where Jim and his squad are seen in uniforms, captioning it ‘Tour of Duty 868th Bombardment Squadron (H) Thirteenth Air Force.’

The photograph and the heartwarming letter are part of a book Justin had received. He paid tribute to all those who served the country in ways unimaginable.

The Grey’s Anatomy actor, who plays a single hunk on the hit show, is a happily married man in real life. He and his wife Keisha, have spent about two decades of their lives together. The couple has five children.

He also shared some happy news with his fans and followers on social media. He shared a photo of his eldest child, Isabelle, graduating from NYU recently.

While he was elated as one his children graduated from a prestigious university, he reminded himself that he had four more children who are yet to graduate.

He posted a photo of Isabelle on her big day and captioned the photograph, ‘My first born graduated. One down and four more to go!’

Justin revealed that the longtime couple was not likely to expand their brood any time soon. He said they had adopted two rescue dogs recently.

The actor is also known for his role as D’Artagnan in Peter Hyams film, The Musketeer, 2001, based on Alexandre Dumas’ The Three Musketeers.
