Angela Bassett defies her 59 years in plaid black and white jumpsuit in recent photo

Time is doing wonders for the “Black Panther” star, and at 59, she’s still flaunting a fit figure with a lot of confidence. Her secret, she revealed, is keeping it interesting with her diet and fitness routine.

Angela Bassett looks stunning in a recent photo shared to her Instagram account as part of the media promotions for her newest film, “Mission: Impossible – Fallout,” the sixth film of the saga started by Tom Cruise.

In the pic, Bassett is rocking a plaid back and white jumpsuit that hugs her age-defying figure to perfection enhancing her curves. Angela completed the look with silver hoop earrings, some rings and her hair styled in a demure afro.

Fans of the star immediately took to her comment section to shower her with praises. Instagram user @tinumide wrote “Black don't crack! You are getting more beautiful,” @moire_930 said “Guuuurl! STOP!!! (Smile) Mission Accomplished!!! Beautiful Strong Black Queen! Shine Bright Like A Diamond!!! Long Live The Queen!!!” and @ken.witkowski added, “You must be Benjamin Button’s Sister. A few months ago, Angela shared a gorgeous photo wearing a cut-out one-piece black swimsuit and flaunting her toned legs, arms and midriff as she basked under the sun. She wore a floppy black hat to protect her face from the sun, but the rest of her body glowed in the photo.

“Hey Everybody you good? Cold & Rain makes me miss #paradise,” she captioned the sexy photo that proves she’s not afraid or self-conscious when it comes to showing off her almost 60s figure.

Talking to People magazine, Angela’s stylist, Jennifer Austin, revealed that she’s always on the vanguard when it comes to her fashion and that she’s not afraid of pushing boundaries that society has set for women of her age.

“Angela is a beautiful, smart, elegant and most importantly confident woman with a youthful spirit,” Austin shared. “She embodies those things at all times, and she works hard to keep herself together, so every now and then we like show it off.”

According to BlackDoctor, Bassett once stated that her secret to keeping a fit and healthy routine relies on keeping it exciting every day. “My goal with exercise is I try to do it more often than not,” she said. And continued:

“You have to keep it interesting. Your diet and exercise. I like tasteful and passionate food. It has to be flavorful. You gotta eat. It’s one of our greatest pleasures, but you’ve got to eat yourself well, which is why I’m also organic.”

Angela sure knows what makes her glow, and she continues to serve looks with the classy and elegant aura that characterizes her.
