Official Royal portrait of Prince Louis' christening published
Much like his siblings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis had his official portrait taken by a renowned photographer on the day of his christening.
Although the christening took place last Monday, July 9, 2018, the portrait was only revealed to the public on Sunday, July 15, along with other photos of the event.
Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, chose Matt Holyoak, one of the most famous portrait photographers in the world, to be in charge of the family pictures.
The pictures were shared on Kensington Palace's official Twitter account, where millions of fans and followers of the Royal family were able to see the special moment. To learn more follow us on twitter @amomama_usa.
Following Prince Louis' baptism, which took place at the Chapel Royal at St. James' Palace, in London, several Royal figures, as well as members of Middleton's side of the family, were invited to Clarence House, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles' residence.
There, in the Morning Room, Holyoak organized the setting and took the photographs which were shared with the eager public.
In the first photo, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, as well as their children, were joined by Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince Charles, Camilla, Carole and Michael Middleton, James Middleton, Pippa Middleton and her husband, James Matthews.
The second photo featured only members of the Royal family, always with Prince William, who had George sitting on his lap, and Kate Middleton, who was holding Prince Louis and had Charlotte by her side, taking center stage.
Finally, the third photo was Prince Louis' official portrait with his father, mother, brother, and sister, who happily looked at the camera as Middleton gazed sweetly at her new bundle of joy.
After spending some quality time with their children during the baptism, as well as at home, the two Royals attended the Gentlemen's Singles Final at Wimbledon, on Sunday, July 15, and witnessed Novak Djokovic beat Kevin Anderson for the trophy.
