Fred Carter Jr.'s daughter, 52, gets married in a private ceremony in Florida

Dean Carter, 52, famous daughter of Fred Carter Jr., recently tied the knot in a private ceremony with her life partner Jim McPhail.

The pair exchanged vows on July 6th, according to an exclusive report by People, at The Pearl Hotel in Rosemary Beach, Florida.

Carter and McPhail first met in 2017 through mutual friends. Over the past year, the two madly fell for each other.

Carter donned a high-neck halter gown that had lace to along the neckline. She wore her blonde locks down in loose waves but put own a simple pearl tiara.

Her makeup looked natural with her nude lipstick and natural-looking eyeshade.

As for the groom, McPhail wore royal blue pants with a tan blazer. Underneath was a white-button down shirt without a tie. He completed the look with a blue pocket square and his brown loafers.

Carter’s sister-in-law officiated the wedding and her brother, Jeff Carter, walked her down the aisle and gave her away.

Talking to People, the newlyweds said the wedding was a special time for the both of them.

They added, “We are extremely blessed to have met during this season of our lives and blending our families into one happy one.”

The pair explained they planned to divide their time living in their homes in Santa Rosa, Florida and Los Angeles.

Carter’s marriage with McPhail was her third. She was formerly married to Chris DiCroce, but their marriage ended in 2001. Her second marriage was with Brandon Malone, and it lasted until 2012.

The singer has a 13-year-old son named Gray Hayes Hicky.

Carter, who became famous with her song Strawberry Wine, is currently on tour and writing new songs. She has also appeared in several films and TV shows.
