Around the time the throwback snap was taken, Keshia was probably already dipping her feet in Hollywood playing her famous role as youngest daughter Rudy in the popular sitcom ‘The Cosby Show.’ She was only five when she began her career in the show and grew up in the eyes of its audience until the show wrapped in 1992 when she was 13. Since then, Keshia moved on to another TV role playing Miranda in ‘Tyler Perry’s House of Payne’ from 2007-2012.

Keshia was married to Ed Hartwell after a four-month whirlwind romance that culminated in an engagement on New Year’s Eve 2015 and a wedding in Atlanta the following day. That same year in June, Hartwell surprised her when he filed for divorce just when the couple revealed they were expecting a child, daughter Ella Grace who was born in January 2017.

The actress’ divorce from Hartwell was a bitter battle that was just finalized in April. The couple fought over their daughter’s custody which was eventually awarded in full to Keshia. Her ex-husband got visitation rights along with a requirement to pay Keshia over $3,000 a month in child support. There was also a battle over their child’s name, each insisting Ella Grace carried their last name. Arriving at a compromise, the ex-spouses agreed Ella would carry both last names with a hyphen.
