Nia Long is all smiles in photo with longtime partner and their 6-year-old son

The actress is a proud mother of two young sons, and loves to spend family time together with her little ones and long-time partner.

Nia Long, best known for her roles in Boyz n the Hood and NCIS: Los Angeles, took to her social media account to share a photo of herself and her family enjoying some down time together.

In the photo shared to Instagram, the actress wore a red and white patterned shirt and a broad rimmed straw hat. Her blonde braids were let loose on her shoulder, and she wore a pendant necklace and a pair of green feathery earrings.

Behind Long, her partner of 8 years Ime Odoka was also flashing his smile at the camera. He opted for a more casual outfit as he wore a plain black shirt.

The couple’s son, six-year-old Kez, stood in front of them wearing a white and red cap and a green and white striped shirt. In the caption, Nia only wrote "my bottom line," with a heart emoji.

As soon as she uploaded that picture, her fans and followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the lovely family picture.

One of them was Instagram user Aretha, who felt that the photo radiated the actress' natural beauty.

That image was shared a couple of days after Long took to Instagram to upload a photo portraying her two sons having breakfast with their grandmother.

In the photo, shared on Mother’s Day as a way to honor Talita Long, seventeen-year-old Massai (from Nia's relationship with Massai Dorsey) and Kez were posing next to Talita flashing their big smiles.

With the three of them smiling so broadly, it would have been impossible not to see the resemblance the boys had to their grandmother.

Long’s parents divorced when she was just two-years-old, and she moved to Iowa City with Talita while she finished college.

Soon after that, they moved to Los Angeles, where Talita was planning to marry once again, before she later called off her engagement.

Even though growing up with a single mother was difficult, the actress remembers her childhood filled with fun, vacations, and educational trips to museums and more.

Talita celebrated her 70th birthday on July 5, so the actress and her family decided they needed to go big for the occasion. Rather than organizing a party at home, they gathered everyone up and took the party to Disneyland.

Long decided to document the day on Instagram, and took to the social media site with a number of photos from the day to allow her followers to share in the festivities.

In the first image, Long and her entire entourage could be seen standing in front of the famed Disney castle. They looked all smiles as they looked into the camera, clearly dressed for a warm day in shorts, t-shirts, and caps.

"Fun times in Orlando!!! Thank you @waltdisneyworld for helping us celebrate my moms 70th birthday," Long captioned the shot.

Another image that the actress shared was one of just her mother. In the beautiful picture, Talita looked overwhelmed by the love she was receiving, as she had her hand over her mouth in shock.

While Talita sat at a table in a restaurant, in front of her was a beautiful dessert, made specially for her with "happy birthday" written on the plate in chocolate.

"Happy 70th birthday mommy. We love you!!! #goodgenesruninthefamily," Long captioned the sweet shot.
