Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers stun on the red carpet at ESPY Award debut

For the first time since they revealed their relationship, Danica Patrick and Aaron Rodgers were each other’s dates during this year’s ESPY Awards.

Patrick and Rodgers walked and posed side by side on the red carpet of the most significant sports awards night held in Los Angeles on July 18th.

The appearance served as the couple’s debut since it was their first big public event after they confirmed their relationship January 2018.

36-year-old Patrick, who was the first-ever female ESPY host, wore a one-shoulder, black mini dress that was embellished with metallic polka dots.

Rodgers, 34, of the Green Bay Packers, looked dashing in his black tuxedo.

The ESPY Awards is a special place in the pair’s relationship since they first met at the same event in 2012.

In May 2018, Patrick spoke with Jenny McCarthy on her SiriusXM radio show. She said they both remembered meeting each other although it was quick.

She added,

“I got his email address, and I remember thinking to myself, ‘Oh, not a phone number? Just an email address?’”

This year’s ESPYs was an even bigger deal for Patrick since she was tasked to be a host for the night. She supposedly did an excellent job during the awards, which was aired live on July 18th on ABC at eight in the evening.

Before Patrick and Rodgers got together, they were both in serious relationships that ended in 2017. Rodgers was with actress Olivia Munn for three years while Patrick dated NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. for five years.
