Julianne Hough reveals what special surprise she received for her 30th birthday

Professional dancer and two-time Dancing With The Stars champion, Julianne Hough, celebrated her 30th birthday this week.

Her husband had an adventure planned. Hough shared a photo of herself and Brooks Laich to Instagram over the weekend, and the couple can be seen on a trip to Machu Picchu!

She joked in the caption that he knocked her birthday 'out of the park, and all the way to Machu Picchu.' Visiting the historic site had been one of her dreams.

Hough ended her message by telling Laich how much she loves him, and added the hashtags 'machupicchu,' 'pachamamma,' 'bestbirthdayever,' and 'enerygrich.'

The snap has already received nearly 200,000 likes and 1,100 comments in the two days since Hough shared it with her 4.3 million Instagram followers.

In another post, Hough said she wants to 'spread and receive more love than we could ever think imaginable' and asked her followers to do a simple breathing exercise.

"Because that's what the world needs: Some giving and some receiving of love." The steps of the exercise can be seen in her short video clip here.

Hough and her birthday squad also supported village traders by buying poncho's, and Laich explained on his Instagram account that his poncho took 1.5 months to make to make.

He praised the talent, effort, and dedication that went into the handmade poncho's, describing it as 'absolutely unbelievable.'
