Actress and host Tia Mowry, best known for Tia Mowry at Home, shared on her Instagram account a photo showing a much slimmer figure after revealing dangerous diagnose.

In the image, Tia was wearing a black ensemble covered by a white Nike top. She opted for a messy bun, big, rounded earrings, and a couple of bracelets. In the caption, the proud mother of two wrote: ‘Just do it,’ using Nike’s slogan.

As soon as she posted that picture, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user @a_love24, who seemed to be surprised by how good Tia looked and said that she ‘slimmed down’ in a week. User @the_writer54 chimed in and said that Tia looked great.

That photo was uploaded one week after posting a video of herself working out on the front porch of her home next to her personal trainer.

In the recording, the actress was portraying doing squats while holding training balls, pulling resistance bands while lifting her knees, and even doing squats while pulling the resistance bands.

For the caption, Tia revealed that she was doing all that because she had been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. She pointed out that she never thought such a bad thing could happen to her, so Tia was ‘lost of words’ when she was diagnosed.

‘Most of the time, doctors say it will go away after birth, however, it does put you at a higher risk for diabetes later in life. Time to get back on track. Making healthy choices and moving,’ said Tia.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, gestational diabetes affects two to ten percent of pregnancies in the U.S. each year, and it is a type of diabetes that happens when the body cannot produce enough insulin during pregnancy.

Tia has not shared more details about her condition. The truth is that she is focused on raising her baby daughter Cairo Tiahna and her son Cree.
