Halle Berry's daughter bonds with furry companion, rocking pink dress & flip flops in recent pic

After sharing for the first time a photo of her son’s face last month, it seems like Halle Berry is getting more comfortable sharing pics of her kids on social media. The actress posted an adorable shot of her eldest daughter showering her pet with some love.

Halle Berry has not been lucky when it comes to her love life, and after her last failed relationship with British DJ Alex Da Kid, she has been focusing all her energy on her new projects, leading a healthy and fit life, and raising her two gorgeous kids: Nahla Ariela Aubry, 10 and Maceo Robert Martinez, 4.

Last June, the Academy Award winner went on a family vacation with her kids to Bora Bora, and she surprised fans when, for the first time ever, she decided to share a glimpse of her son’s face on Instagram.

The 51-years-old also shared some pics of daughter’s backside, as she has stated in several occasions that she prefers to keep the kids’ identities away from the spotlight for their security and her peace of mind.

She explained why her sudden change of heart on an interview with Extra TV a few weeks ago, saying:

“I really don’t like to show my kids very much … but I do realize … my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like I want to include them.”

She added, “But it’s a fine line because I don’t want to exploit my children … I want to protect my children, so I thought, ‘Half the face is good’.”

Berry recently took to Instagram to share another beautiful shot of her 10-years-old daughter without showing her face. In the pic, Nahla is rocking a short pink dress and white flip-flops as she takes care of the family’s dog, Jackson, while holding a bottle of Gatorade on her hands.

“She’s reminded that love is a four legged word,” Halle wrote on her caption, as her fans took over her comment section agreeing with her statement.

Instagram user @xmenforeverrr wrote “Aww! This picture is soo cute a dog is the only thing we can trust more. More than humans..” and @alvaradomamaj added, “Girls that say diamonds are their best friend, never owned a dog!!”

Nahla was in the center of a controversy surrounding her parent’s divorce a few years ago when Halle revealed in court documents that her ex-husband Gabriel Aubrey, had called her the N-word and was ashamed of the skin color and hair of their daughter.

According to TMZ, the “Monster” actress said that Aubrey was straightening Nahla’s naturally-curly hair and lightening it with highlights. She also allegedly pledged in the court to stop Aubrey’s attempts at trying to change their daughter and think about the phycological consequences that would bring to the girl.

Even though we can’t see her face, we’re sure Nahla is as a beautiful and her mom, and we hope she’s aware of that by now.
