Beyoncé and Jay Z share a passionate kiss on stage at New Jersey concert
Beyoncé and Jay-Z shared a loving kiss while on the stage of the MetLife Stadium on August 2. It all happened after the concert was delayed for a while.
The couple was in New Jersey as part of the American leg of their On the Run II tour. Even though the show was expected to start earlier, it was briefly delayed due to thunderstorms.
Things were so severe that fans had to get out of their seats and wait under the roof of the stadium for the storm to pass, reported Billboard.
After about 40 minutes, the staff of the MetLife asked all people to go back to their seats as the concert would not be canceled. The show began at 11:08 pm local time.
DJ Khaled got on stage, bringing with him other artists like Fabolous, Jim Jones, Bazzi, and Freeway. Later, Chloe x Halle also performed. However, the highlight of the night was Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s show.
The couple got on stage wearing matching black outfits. Beyoncé chose a beautiful, long, jewel-encrusted, black dress while her husband opted for a 70s-style black suit and large pendant necklace hung from his neck.
Much to the delight of their fans who had waited for quite a long time to finally get to see Beyoncé and Jay-Z, the couple shared a loving kiss onstage, what made the audience go wild.
Throughout the show, the couple changed their clothes. Beyoncé put on a white bodysuit, an orange dress, and a golden ensemble covered by a purple cape while her rapper husband chose a white suit and a black outfit different from the black suit he wore to her onstage.
The American leg of the On the Run II tour started on July 25 in Cleveland, Ohio, a couple of days after they finished their European leg which consisted of 18 shows.
For the second part of their tour, they are expected to have 30 concerts. The one in New Jersey was only the fifth date of the leg which is expected to finish in Seattle on October 4.
