Robin Harris’' son has grown into a handsome young man. Robin Jr. was born months after his dad died of a heart attack back in March 1990.

Robin Harris was an American comedian and actor who was born in 1953 but lost his life at the age of 36. He is best known for his recurring comic sketch called ‘Bébé's Kids’. As a comedian, he made a name for himself and left quite an impact in the comedy and film industry.

His old-school style of comedy gained him a mainstream following and he was quite good at his job. In 1991, he was nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for the series, 'House Party'.

Two sequels to 'House Party' have been released so far and once in a while, they take time to remind the viewers of Harris. Harris did not get to meet his child as he died while his wife, Exetta Harris, was pregnant with their son. Later that year in September, Robin Harris Jr. was born.

A posthumous DVD titled 'We Don't Die, We Multiply: The Robin Harris Story' was released in 2006, featuring never-seen-before performances of Harris and other fellow comedians.

The phrase, ‘We don’t die, we multiply,’ reminds one of what ‘Bébé's Kids’ would say after they had continuously tried to annoy or made a fool out of the comedian. Now 25, Harris Jr. has a lot of beautiful things to say about his dad.

Even though the things he knows about his dad are basically stories friends and family have told him over the years, and, of course, what he could get from the Internet, he is quite happy to have had such a dad.

Harris Jr. says he is so overwhelmed by the greatness of his dad and how much impact he made with the little time he spent on this earth.

He compares himself to his dad, because he believes what made his dad different was his commitment to his job, and how even after a successful show, would only think of how he could have made it better.

Harris Jr. is a rap artist who is building a name for himself outside his dad’s comedic fame.

He tries to carry on his dad’s legacy and puts some of his thoughts into his single, ‘Sons of a Legend’, which he says is dedicated to his dad for creating such an impact on the world.

Even though a lot of people would have loved for him to follow in his dad’s footsteps as he also has a great sense of humor, Harris Jr. says that's not his calling and that he would never be able to fit in his dad’s shoes.
