Halle Berry's daughter melts hearts in pink dress & flip flops in pic with furry companion

Award-winner actress Halle Berry, best known for “Monster’s Ball,” took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter next to her pet.

While a similar post in someone else’s Instagram account would be normal, the fact that it was Halle who did it attracted a lot of attention as she is known for being very private in most of the aspects related to her children.

She is so strict when it comes to keeping them out of the spotlight that she has never shared an image showing their full faces on social media. Not even their names – Nahla Ariela Aubry and Maceo Robert Martinez – are as recognized as the ones of other children of popular celebrities.

In the photo, the girl was shown wearing a long, pink and white shirt and white flip-flops while playing with a dog out of what seemed to be the family home.

For the caption, Halle wrote that her daughter reminded that love was a “four legged word.” As soon as the actress uploaded that image, her fans and followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts.

One of them was Instagram user @lizy202061, who seemed surprised by how big Halle’s daughter looked in the post. They added that it was great that she loved animals.

Even though that photo was shocking, it was not the first time that Halle shared something similar about their children. In June 2018, the actress went on a family vacation with Maceo and Nahla to Bora Bora.

During their trip, she uploaded a photo showing half of Maceo’s face on Instagram, which was the first time Halle did something similar.

Previously, the actress had posted photos of her children’s hair and back, but never one showing their faces. In an interview she had with Extra TV, Halle admitted that it was because she wanted to keep their identities away from the spotlight for their security.

“I really don’t like to show my kids very much … but I do realize my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like I want to include them … But it’s a fine line because I don’t want to exploit my children … I want to protect my children, so I thought, ‘Half the face is good’” confessed the actress.

While Halle is living peacefully with her both children, she went through a very tough divorce from her ex-husband Gabriel Aubrey years ago.

She revealed that he had called her the N word and that he was ashamed of the skin color of Nahla, who is also Gabriel’s daughter.

Halle added that Gabriel would straighten the girl’s hair and lighten it with highlights. She even requested her ex-husband to think about the psychological consequences that trying to change Nahla could bring, reported TMZ.
