'90 Day Fiance' couple, Paola and Russ Mayfield, reveals baby's gender

Paolo Mayfield and her husband, Russ, became household names when they appeared in the first season of "90 Day Fiance." They are expecting their first child!

The couple had a baby gender reveal party last night and shared the happy news with their Instagram followers. Read more on our Twitter account, @amomama_usa.

Paolo admitted on social media that she always wanted a girl, "but a boy is a blessing as well." As long as the baby is healthy, she would be happy.

Russ, on the other hand, wanted a baby boy and even wore a blue t-shirt with the slogan "Team Boy." Scroll down to learn the gender!

Their history

The couple made their first appearance on the reality romance show back in 2014 when Paolo had to adapt to live with Russ and his parents.

They eventually moved into their own apartment, and later relocated to Tulsa, Oklahoma after their wedding. Paolo worked as a model and fitness instructor while Russ works as a field engineer.

The pregnancy

Both Paolo and Russ announced the news back in July. Paolo re-shared a photo from US Weekly which showed sharing a kiss while she held up the pregnancy test.

Russ's announcement showed the couple sitting on their bed. A onesie and a variety of snacks were laid out in front of them, and Russ was reading a "Pregnancy For Dummies" book. He wrote:

We are thrilled to announce that we have a little one on the way! So much to prepare for and the cravings have started for the both of us

It's a boy!

Their latest posts confirmed that the duo is expecting a baby boy, with Russ adding that "God has prepared me as I welcome in our baby into the world."

Meanwhile, Paolo said she couldn't wait to hold her baby. Even though she was "rooting for a girl" they are excited because she "can finally say 'I'm pregnant!'"
