Fantasia's daughter has grown into a stunning lady

Fantasia's daughter, Zion, is a stunning 17-year-old girl who’s the vivid image of her mom.

Fantasia, who became famous after she participated in "American Idol" in 2004, earned the nation’s love not only because of her incredible talent but also her touching story.

Barrino was a high school dropout who decided to halt her education after a classmate raped her. She confessed that she was a functional illiterate, as she didn’t know how to read or write. The singer became a mother at the age of 17, and her relationship with the father of her baby was an abusive one, so she ultimately decided to split with him.

The fact that Fantasia was a single mother resonated with a big part of the audience of the show, and she became a fan favorite quickly.

At the time, everyone got to know little Zion, who was her mother's biggest cheerleader while she was in the competition and charmed everyone with her bright smile.

Now, after 13 years, six albums and a lot of TV appearances from her mother, Zion is not so little anymore, and she has become a beautiful 17-year-old girl.

The teenager has been sharing some of her best photos on Instagram, and she even shared some oldies pics, remembering moments from her childhood alongside her mom and the rest of the family.

Fantasia was involved in a nasty custody case with Zion's father in 2015, even though the man was never present in the girl's life. The "American Idol" alum won full custody, and Zion and her little brother seem to be having the best that their mother can offer.

On August 8, Zion celebrated her birthday, and like any other proud mother, Fantasia took to her Instagram to share an adorable photo of her baby girl when she was a toddler followed by a more recent pic that shows precisely how much Zion has grown up.
